Pictures not loading in FP 2000 - Proxy Server Settings?

I no longer see any pictures loading or previewed in Frontpage 2000.
The hyperlinks are all legit. The culprit is a proxy server program
which I installed for the first time a few days ago and have since
then uninstalled. How do I restore my initial settings? Do I have to
reconfigure Opera / IE6 or alter a Windows 98 setting?

Any help greatly appreciated.
