Default Dev server giving 405 resource not allowed

This last weekend our server support guys did an upgrade from our NT domain
system to Active Directory. Today, Monday, our FP-extended dev server is not
allowing users to connect, or even view the content in 'My Netowork Places'
on their local machines, nor am I as the administrator.

I've verified that the local administrators group, and even I personally, am
a member of the web's admin group
I have full access at the file level.
When opening Recent Web in FP, error message gets returned with details
mentioning HTTP 405 resource not allowed.
I've run the Check Server Extensions task, no effect
I've verified that the FP groups are all assigned at the file level
When accessing a page on the dev server in FP by directly entering the
servername and specific file name, a message comes up saying that I do not
have permission to make changes, but can open a read-only copy.
All users can view resources on the dev server using IE without
complication, as expected.

Does any of this sound familiar? The dev server is extended with FP 2000 svr
ext. Clients are using FP 2000 and 2002, both unable to access. Clients are
running Windows 2000 Pro and unable to see any folders or files in 'My
Network Places' folder. Event log on server for Apps and System is clean. No
changes lately other than AD upgrade. Box has been rebooted since upgrade.

Any help would be apprecated.
Thank you,
S

I'd say this is all fall-out from the Active Directory
conversion. Your server folks probably need to straighten
this out. In the meantime, don't make additional changes,
as this just adds to the complexity.
