Anybody know where I can get a mono audio amplifier kit/module that works from 12 volts DC? About 30 to 50 watts should do.
It's for a bass speaker I want to put in my car boot. Picked it up for a tenner at PC World, it's part of a 5.1 system without all the rest of it. I have a crossover, I've taken out the original amp(s) (split rail PSU, unfortunately), I just need to power the thing now. My car's head unit has a bass out socket, so I may not even need the crossover. Anyway, 12 volt audio amp?

Nope, that no good, I need a single rail powered amp, that be twin rail.
The PSU already in the bass cab was split rail, +/- 15V so the existing amp was not suitable.
