Can anyone recomend a script or place where I can download something that
can provide me with a countdown clock for our website. Just need something that can countdown to a time ...even better if it can leave a message ...eg...you have only 10 days 48 hrs left to register etc. Looking forward to your replies NZed |

If you can use ASP, then is fairly simple to implement. However you should
be able to do with PHP or even JavaScript date/time script. -- ============================================== Thomas A. A ust checked to see what I can use on our website a messege from my webhost
"cgi/perl script will work on Freeparking accounts, also php/mysql scripts on the (Plus)." So it looks like cgi/peri Any recomendations for scripts ? I am still searching for something suitable. Ideally looking for something that says "There is .....days.....hours......minutes before you register for the seminar." Then as it gets beyond the date and time...."sorry you have missed registering for the seminar but please contact us for details for our next seminar." Looking forward to your reply NZed "Thomas A. I don't think you will find any thing pre-written to do that exactly, you
would have to start with a script the display the date and time and then modify it to meet you needs based on date and time options supported by the language. If I were you I would look for something written in PHP. I only use ASP/VBScript, so I can't help directly. -- ============================================== Thomas A. If the counter on the bottom of this
page will suffice, post back or e-mail me and I'll zip the components and send them to you. It can be used as either a countdown or elapsed time counter http://www.95isalive.com/reflections/wtc.htm -- 95isalive This site is best viewed............... ...........................with a computer "NZed" <nzedsurfa@nospam.com> wrote in message news:%KkPa.4092$9f7.449869@news02.tsnz.net... > Can anyone recomend a script or place where I can download something that > can provide me with a countdown clock for our website. > Just need something that can countdown to a time ...even better if it can > leave a message ...eg...you have only 10 days 48 hrs left to register etc. > > Looking forward to your replies > > NZed > > |
