Permissions

Hi - I'm using FP2000 and need to password protect a subweb, using a new
userid. I've checked with my host and they say they support subwebs and
unique users. I edited the subweb online and used Tools/Security/Permissions
to set "use unique permissions for this web". At that point, password
protection worked fine for my primary userid. I then tried to add a new
user. The new user shows up in the list and everything seems to be fine
until I click on "OK" (or "Apply"). At that point, I get the following error
message: "Server error: Error removing one or more users: the following user
names do not exist: 'poa' " (The username I attempted to add was 'poa')

I've contacted my host, pointing out the error message says "Server Error".
They failed to see the humor in that, and say the problem is on my end. It
probably is, but I can't find anything I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions are
sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Kevin, I appreciate the feedback. I suspected that was the case. I'm
headed back to 'em to complain again.
