Hover Button Problem w/ email address link

1) In FP 2002 I set up Hover Button (Jave applet) named
CONTACT ME which links to my email. I input mail w/
mailtoemail address).

When I attempt to use link, the composing window comes on
but the email address is not included in IE 6.0 at TO:
However, in Netscape 7.02 it is included and works.

This is a big problem for my website as you can imagine!

Anyone can help?
