Remote computer access - graphics blocking

Have two computers at home and am able to share files (data), but the screen
is blocked by graphics and the cursor won't allow me to work in this file.

Second, a computer at a client's, I'm unable to access - says user is not
able to answer the call. Help - this is really frustrating. Thanks anyone,
