Is there a setting to save all as a PPS not PPT as standard?

I use PPS more than PPT and would like to not have to automatically
save as PPT or select each time I save. Is there a setting I have
missed that would change my default to PPS? Thanks for your time.

Normally I'd say change the settings in Tools/Options/Save, but it seems
that PPS isn't an option there. Sheesh.

I guess maybe you can set the PPT file association in Windows to open in
show mode just as a PPS would. That's really the only difference in the two
extensions.

You can use my free MultiSave add-in from
http://officeone.mvps.org/addins.html. It allows you to save in multiple
formats at once. You can delect .ppt and select .pps there.

PowerShow - View multiple PowerPoint slide shows simultaneously

Thank you.
I just downloaded it and will try it ASAP. Sounds like it will do just
what I want. Thank you for taking the time and talent to write it and
offer it to the public.

I have downloaded the file and have followed the instructions to
install it. I am using PPT2003. I see the MultiSave in the addins box
and select it | OK | Close. I even went to the main install foldere
and located it there for adding in. It does not add it to theaddin
list and there is no item under FILE to configure it. I must be doing
something wrong but I can't figure it out. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled and followed everything to the letter. Any help will be
appreciated because I think this is going to be great for me.
Thanks,

Talon

It could be that the Macro Security settings are high or very high. You
would need to turn them to Medium in that case. Look at:
