Powerpoint 2003 has security to prevent editing the presentation.
Unfortunately there are plenty of third party software packages available to
unlock this security. I need to distribute presentations that can not be
edited by those who receive it. Is there anything out there that will provide
this security?

No security is 100%. This applies both to life and software. You can make
it difficult, time consuming, or cost in-effective, but you'll never make
hacking software impossible.

To that end, lets ask a couple of questions.

1) How much are you willing to spend on securing the presentation? There
are some fairly inexpensive options.

2) Do you want to keep someone from copying the image of your slide? No
way. If it can be displayed, it can be easily copied.

3) Do you want people not to be able to move the objects around on your
slides? Convert all the objects (that do not have attached animations) to a
single image file then use that instead.
