is there any way to get to a unique build verion of an assembly at runtime? e.g. a version that is unique to the time that the assembly was built?

Daniel,

I am not 100% sure but I remember something like if you put the asterisks in
the AssemblyVersion attribute like this:

[AssemblyVersion("1.0.*.*")]

then the build number and the revision number will be generated
automatically, and one of them (don't remember which one) will be generated
in part based on the current time.
