No..And what is more sad, I was reading a bit about the law and what happens with people when they commit such an offence. The charge is driving with undue care. The penalty is anything from a £50 fine to a max of 6 months at Her Majesties pleasure.....Just don't do it is what I say. At the end of the day when you are driving you are in charge of a very potentialy dangerous weapon............

The main problem is that the punishment for using a phone when driving is just not severe enough. Although the max is 6months in jail it is hardly ever implemented. Occasionally it is used for offenders who have been caught several times but the usual fine is £60 and 3 points on the license.

IMO the punishment, even for first offenders, should be £1000 fine and a twelve month ban. Only then would people think twice about using the phone whilst driving. I see it several times EVERY day.

I think the whole punishment thing needs to be looked at seriously..I have just read a report where a guy spent the day in the pub and got into his car to drive home, not only been p*ssed, he was on his mobile when he lost control. On the pavement was a young mum, pregnant with twins, pushing her two young kids in a pram, walking with her mum. He hit them and killed them. Thats 6 people. At his trial he was given 1 year suspended and a 12 month ban. The Judge replied to the sentance by saying. "His intention was to drink drive, not kill" and could only impose the sentance he had.....

Woohoo

What?

It wasn't meant to be funny?

Oh.

Ahem.

I see pillocks every day using mobiles in one form or another whilst driving, from most every walk of life.

A well made film.

But they all spoke funny.

And you sir, take life too seriously.

If you can't laugh at death, destruction and heartbreak then you'd probably go quite insane.

You say I suck big time eh?

I'm getting a sense of deja vu here, seem to recall another thread recently where my humour was criticised.

My trouble is, Mr Mad, is I'm not like everybody else, never have been.

Have a nice day

Erm sorry to say, but 2 years ago I was in a car crash much the same as in this vid. I lost 2 of my oldest bestest mates because of somebody elses stupidity. So yeah in some cases I take life extremely seriously....

Anyway as for you sucking, I honestly thought you would hav made a better response. And obviously our outakes on life and death are very different.....Sh*t happens
