I am looking for a very basic text-to-speech software program that is free
for WindowsXP. I had used one awhile ago and can't remember its name. Does
WinXP has something built-into the operating system?

Thank you.

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: SPEECH , and hit enter.
3. Click on "Text to speech overview".
