if your computer has a virus and it is picked up by NAV go into the quarantined items folder select the Virus and at the top their is a button "submit item" click and the virus gets automatically sent to them

i've been watching the thread and it seems to be a real pain in the butt, the virus/trojan would have to of been picked up by NAV for you to send it to them, but you could probably send them an email explaining and send a copy of the link or exe that sends itself to everyone assuming you have it

It has already been reported ... however, it will take some time before a 'cure' is formulated.

Best you can do is try and warn as many people as you can ... a few of us old dogs just don't trust things like MSN.

I believe Symantec, and others, now have a 'cure' ... check for updated Virus Definitions and run a virus scan.

No I don't use any messaging programs any more, if I need to, I use the weblaunched ones, I will not-- I refuse-- to downlaod and run anything like AIM or MSN messenger.

Oh yea speaking of instant messaging programs, like 3 years ago I had one called Trillian created by cerulean studios. It was a 3rd party IM software that let you use MSN,YAHOO,ICQ,and AOL all in one. And it was friggin AWSOME
Sadly it has not worked in a few years, new updates to all the messaging progrmas and no more patches avail for Trillian, any one have a idea for another program??
