Hi

I've got a problem on one Win2000 sp3 server.
There is a task scheduled to run once every hour, but
sometimes the process hangs and the status on the job
is "running". We then have to restart the Task Scheduler
service.
This happens app. once a week.
Anybody who knows how we can correct this?

Please send a copy of your answere to me at
(E-Mail Removed).

Best regards
Monica

- What exactly does this task run?
- Is there a chance that the task might require
some user input?
- Have you tried killing the executable that gets
invoked by this task?

This task runs a vb script. The script doesn't require
user input. It runs once every hour, but sometimes (about
once every week) the process hangs. We then have to kill
the process in Task Manager.
