Task Manager and Resource Overview

Hi to All,

Using the Vista Resource Overview Consol and expending the CPU section, the
application shows the running processes and for each of them the process ID,
the number of threads it has opened, the average CPU usage. Having a look
at the application help to understand what's the meaning of the numbers
displayed in the CPU column it says:

>> The CPU cycles currently active from the application instance. <<


Although I understand the words I would appreciate that somebody clarify the
real meaning of "CPU cycles currently active". Thanks a lot for help.
