when i press the ctrl + alt + delete task manager comes
up for a split second and then closes. Also, Norton
systemworks and ms works will not open any longer. I ran
virus scans and found no viruses, but i am having
problems unistalling systemworks completely. any ideas?

Re-run the virus scanner from the Safe Mode and also use a second
scanning tool.
