Ihave no idea how i screwed up my taskbar. at the bottom
where the start button is i now have the same Icons that
appear on my dsesktop the task bar is about an inch wide
as opposed to what it has been forever I messed around
with the start menu and it is even more messed up now HELP

Not a registry issue, but to set the hight place the cursor on the top
edge so it become doubleheaded arrow and press left mouse button and
drag edge up or down. Remove the "desktop" by r-clicking the Taskbar,
select Toolbars and Uncheck Desktop. You may wish to look in Help for
Customizing My Desktop for other features.
