For some reason I am having trouble using the tab key to change levels on
lists? I had done this on previous versions and when I searched for it in
help it says to change levels use the tab key. When I do this it just tabs
the cursor over to the right as if it had no list. thank you

In Word 2003, you have to check the box for "Set left- and first-indent with
tabs and backspaces" on the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools |
AutoCorrect Options. Presumably this same check box exists somewhere in Word
2007's Options (though I keep hoping they've corrected the punctuation).

It took some searching but I found the check box under:
Office Icon Button_Word Options (Botom of Pop Up)_Select Proofing_Auto
Correct Options

Thank you for the help
