I have Administrator rights on my PC and I am getting
an "Access Denied" message when I try to open the System
Volume Information directory using Windows Explorer.
What is wrong? How can I gain access again and fix what
whatever is wrong? Thanks.

It's a system folder and, by default, even administrators don't have access
to it. You can tweak the security of the folder though.

Thanks Fritz for the reply. I actually have two PC
systems and I have no problem accessing the same SVI
folder as administrator on my other system... Also, it's
my understanding that administrators have access to all
folders and files for system management purposes...

As I already said, Admins don't have access to the SVI folder by default.
You have to change the permissions.
