I have done everything suggested even a repair install of WindowsXP and it
still will not restore. Is it possible that if nothing has changed between
now and the chosen restore point that it will not restore? It goes through
the whole process of restoration but then reboots and the system restore
window has at the top, "unable to restore your computer to this point" I
really don't need to restore now but sure would want System Restore
functioning if I get into trouble with something.

Any ideas?

I have been to that site and followed all the directions and still cannot do
System Restore. I still wonder if there are no changes if that is the reason
it will not restore. I am not actually getting an error message. I get the
regular System restore window after the reboot only with the message at the
top saying that it is unable to restore my machine to that point.
