sysprep and network settings

Upon ghosting a sysprep'ed image onto a machine the
network settings portion of the mini setup seems to take a
very long time (about 10 minutes) to complete. Is this
normal? I have the default of InstallDefaultComponents =
Yes underneath the [Network] section. Would it go any
faster with netset.exe?

Thanks in advance

Dave,

What in your sysprep.inf? Did you use the -pnp switch when you ran sysprep?

Dave,

Actually I was asking if you used -pnp because if you did that could cause
a long delay. Don't use it Your sysprep.inf is pretty basic. The items
that cause minisetup to take a long time are usually either using -pnp
switch and preinstalling a large # of mass storage drivers in the
sysprep.inf. Your doing neither of those.

Is the intial install of the OS done from a retail install of Windows or
are you running sysprep on a OEM installation?
Is this XPSP1?
