I am trying to import a simple xlsx worksheet into Acess 2007. I get through
every wizard step and then get "Subscript out of Range". I ahve tried
copying excel cells into new worksheet. No Luck!

Not sure, but does your worksheet name have any special characters in it?

Sorry to ask more questions but can you go through step by step and list out
exactly what you are doing, what the workbook name is, what the worksheet
name is, what the field names are, etc. There is something it doesn't like
and so as much information as possible will help in tracking down the problem.
