This may be silly-and over the course of a year may bog down.

if my 'current' spreadsheet has a linked value from another workbook- I get
the option to update from that file.

what if-- that file- has values linked from another workbook-- it doens't
look for that..

any way to make a workbook with linked values keep running down the chain?
here's what I really want
day 1-
old value todays income running total
0 5 5
0 7 7
0 2 2

day 2-
old value todays income running total
5 2 7
7 3 10
2 9 11

day 3
old value todays income running total
7 2 9
10 2 12
11 2 13

but- if I have to adjust day 1-- when I go to open day 3-- I want it to
catch that... but opening 3 only looks back at day 2.. and uses all the
values as static...

I'm guessing- not possible...but if it is possible-- that's why I'm here.
anyone?
