I lost the strikethrough icon in the toolbar and it doesn't appear in
the add or remove buttons list so that I can restore it.

Tools|Customize|commands tab|format category

Scroll down the list until you find StrikeThrough and drag it to your toolbar.

right click on the grey area of a toolbar
select customize
select the commands tab
select format
scroll down until you find the strikethrough button
grab and place it into the toolbar

Thanx much Dave, that worked just fine.
BTW, is is possible to do a report in Excel as easily as it's done in MS
Works?

BTW, is is possible to do a report in Excel as easily as it's done in
MS
Works?
its been years that I have seen MS Works, I am sure ms Office offers
more

Been thru all of Excel and find nothing that REALLY does anything about
reports. any ideas?

Herb -

Microsoft no longer includes Excel's Report Manager, but you can still
download it. If you're interested, browse to www.microsoft.com and search
for "excel report manager" (without the quotes).
