Strange performance problem using RDP client from Windows XP

Hi,

we have an environment using W2K3 server installed as a TS.
The access is done mostly using Windows based RDP clients,
but with rdesktop too (Linux, Mac-OS).
With one application (ChemDraw) and the Windows RDP client
only I have a high utilization problem.
If I create a comparative simple drawing with about 100
straight lines using ChemDraw and mark this drawing as
active, then the CPU usage of the clients goes to 100%.
This is valid within an LAN and even for a 56k connection
and for high end client computers (P4 3,2 GHz and AMD 3200+).
The same effect is not observable using rdesktop.
The usage of the server CPU is low in both cases.
If I have a look into the task manager, then clearly
mstsc.exe eats the CPU time.

I have no idea how to get more detailed information, what's
going on. There is clearly a combination of that one application
and the Windows client. But how can I get more details?

Sonja
