For some reason, my wife's computer will no longer allow MSN Messenger to
play games, such as Checkers. Just says cannot start Checkers. I have done
the overwrite thing by downloading from the MSN Messenger site.

Any ideas????

Joel

Greetings Joel,

One of the root causes of what you're describing is can be solved by clicking the Tools menu,
then Options, then Privacy tab, and verify that 'Always ask me for my password when checking
Hotmail or opening other .NET Passport-enabled Web pages' is unchecked and then click OK.

Joel I had this problem and I think I may have solved it. Go start/ control panel/user accounts and check that your administrator account :
a) Has a .net passport and an email address (if not, use the wizard to get one)
b) Use the SAME email address ( (E-Mail Removed) for example) to sign in to msn messenger
Mine worked when I used my own ISP email address
Best Of Luc

Thanks to all, I finally found the problem. One of those items WAS checked,
but not the one everyone was talking about, once unchecked everything
cleared up. Thanks to all.
