for win2k and winXP.

i realize there are more places to control what gets loaded at startup and
maybe this makes it difficult but does anyone know of a 3rd party program
that allows me to check/uncheck things i want loaded at startup like the
system information/tools/system configuration/startup would in win98.

MSCONFIG comes with Windows XP Professional. It is not
distributed in Windows 2000 (but may work, your mileage may
vary).
