Hello!

I setup up logon domain, and roaming profiles, and stuff... And, well, among
many files created, this is one of them. If I delete it, it gets re-created.

The thing is... Windows actually RUNS that file as a StartUp file. So every
time I log on I get a Notepad window with that file's contents. I don't
personally mind, but I have other 11 users here who face the same problem
and aren't that okay with it.

I can't hide it without renaming it because it's stored on an Ext2
filesystem.

Any suggestion?

Normally, Its display is suppressed by having its hidden and system attributes set. I'm not
familiar with Ext2 -- you said you can't hide it -- doesn't it support file attributes?
