Sql Server Error with Link Server Windows 2003

I have two server
1. AServer -> Windows 2003 server
2. BServer -> Windows 2000 server
Both are having SQL server 2000 with sp3

I have created Link Server on BServer
which is link with AServer Database

and I am inserting some data from Bserver into AServer by using Link Server
Its working fine.
but when i have written insert statement inside trigger on Bserver Which
is Inserting data into AServer its after that my system is hang.

same scenario when i am using with both window 2000 server its wroking fine .

please help me
