Since installing the Spyware beta I've run the program
dozens of times. Not ONCE has any spyware been detected
or removed.

That should be a cause of celebration, then - you have no spyware on your
PC.

The whole point of having MSAS running in real time on your PC is that it
will prevent spyware attempting to install. So I would expect scans
subsequent to the first scan after installation never finding any spyware
ever again.
