Hello,

Has anyone encountered a problem with the desktop being
split in two? When I start up my computer there is a
thick black line across the desktop with the bottom halp
of the desktop above the black line and the top half of
the desktop below it. I can't cross the black line with
the mouse pointer. I have to keep on scrolling up for the
mouse to appear below the black line and scrolling down
for it to appear above the black line. It happened after
Norton Antivirus found W32.Netsky.P@mm virus which was
removed.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Many Thanks

If you can, try another monitor on your system before doing anything else..

Hello,

Thanks for the message. I don't have another monitor. My
husband has a laptop. Is it possible to check by
connecting the laptop?

Many Thanks

Yes.. the laptop can be connected to your monitor as long as there is a
15pin D type on the laptop somewhere..
