George, are you using a 'firewire' cable? That is what you need to transfer
the video from your camera into your computer (i.e. movie maker). USB won't
cut it....look for other questions and comments on here about 'importing'
into your computer and you may find the discussions helpful. I hope your
Packard Bell has a firewire port that you can use. Good luck.
