I have sound coming out of my speakers from Cds and music stored on my pc,
however I cannot hear any system noises or when I access the internet and
view any video footage I cannot hear it. Is there a simple answer? I have
tested the dxdiag and it all works fine and my driver is ok.

PLease help

Have you checked the properties of your sound card in device manager to make
sure it is being used on all audio channels?
