Small CD player wanted for XP

I have tried quite a few but I really would like a small CD (only)
player that can sit in the taskbar. If anyone has found a good one I
would be grateful for a lead. I was very happy with NotifyCD when I
used Win98SE but it doesn't work for me with XP Pro.

Before XMPlay could play cd's I used CDRun:
http://www.wintotal.de/softw/index.php?rb=1022&id=618

(Sorry for the german site, but it does show the taskbar options in the
screenshot)

How about Robin Keir's very small (10k executable) CD 1.01. From the
readme file:

*****
CD is a simple but fully functional CD player.

Standard controls include

o Restart CD
o Move back a track
o Move forward a track
o Play/Pause
o Stop

The display shows the current track and the current time position
within that track.

Clicking the minimize button will hide the main window and create an
icon in the system tray. Resting the cursor over this icon shows the
current track and the total number of tracks available in the form of
a tooltip.

Clicking on the tray icon brings up a menu where you can choose to
open up the main window again or select any of the standard play
controls as with the main window buttons.

You can even place CD over the task bar (where it fits quite nicely!)
and it will continue to be visible.
