Hi folks,

I've noticed often when I start a presentation from scratch I get a very
useful pane appear on the left-hand side that shows a columnised view of all
the slides in the presentation.

I can't for the life of me find how to enable this in some presentations
where this doesn't appear.

Can anyone help with this silly question?

Thanks :-)

Click the "View" menu and select "Normal (Restore Panes)". When all panes
are visible, the item just says "Normal".
