Site "down" briefly

It was very brief, so possibly just an insignificant glitch... but around 8:17 am, I couldn't get in to the site (which had been "up" just moments before that.) When I tried "http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/#" it confirmed that the site was down. Only mentioning this for info purposes, because as I mentioned, it was back very quickly.

Thanks for the heads up TC, I didn't get a warning e-mail from the server or host so I'll have a peek under the bonnet just to make sure it's ok

The event log looks clear, which is a relief! It must have been an issue with a switch/router at the host or something external to the main server, but thankfully it sorted itself out quickly.

Phew!

Site was down earlier too, about 18.30ish IIRC, Anyone else notice it?

Yes, sorry about that - I've just had an inbox of e-mails from the host about the problem. A reboot seemed to do the trick
