I had a usb hub installed by a computer man and now the
computer won't shut down by itself. All the drivers are
working properly. He had checked out everything and it is
ok. I have read about some article that states that
there is a flaw in the program that won't let the
computer shut down when you install a hub. I have tried
to download the update for end user shut down but it
won't download for the computer is not campatible. The
usb hub has it's own electric power maybe this is the
problem. Should I get a different hub? I also have a
problem with a program that comes on at times on my desk
top and I keep deleteing it. It can not be open by
windows and it looks white with 6 dots in the square. It
also has a ~ file 180 kb. Some of my other files keep
changeing to this too. Why does this happen?
