Shared Documents is designed to be shared across every user on the computer,
which is its true purpose. However, you can also share this folder over your
workgroup. What I suspect is that you are having issues with permissions.
When you connect to another computer in your workgroup, you authenticate
using the credentials you logged in under. As a result, if there isn't an
account on the computer you are connecting to with that name, then
authorization will fail. You may want to experiment with simple file sharing
or using the networking wizard. Also, are you using Home or Pro edition?
They have different networking features (Pro has more, as you would expect).
