Unplug, remove, and/or disable any hardware that isn't required for the
installation. That includes opening the case and removing modem, sound card,
network card, and anything else you don't need. If those things are built
onto the motherboard, disable them in the bios. After the installation, you
can reinstall all the parts, and Windows should recognize them fine.
