Hello all,
I can receive messages with WIndows mail, but I can not send ...
When I try to send a message, there is a error message. Here is it :
Échec de la connexion au serveur. Objet 'st', Compte : 'ejet', Serveur :
'smtp.ejet-va.com', Protocole : SMTP, Port : 25, Sécurisé (SSL) : Non,
Erreur de socket : 10060, Numéro d'erreur : 0x800CCC0E
Thanks,
Valentin

Many of the people on this newsgroup can read messages only in
English. You might get a faster answer if you translate the error
message.

Ejet-va.com is not an ISP. It appears to be a vanity domain name
for a travel agency. As such, you will have severe problems using
its SMTP server, due to what is known as a 'port 25 block' policy
employed by most ISPs. As a workaround, you can substitute the
name of your ISP's SMTP server for 'smtp.ejet-va.com'.

Hi,
Thanks for response to all,
I didn't understand the thing to do ... I already have smtp.ejet-va.com as
SMTP server.
I read something about port 25 block but i do not know how to resolve the
problem...
Thanks,
Valentin

You must replace smtp.ejet-va.com with the name of the
outgoing (SMTP) server provided by your ISP. Who is your
Internet Service Provider? How do you get on the Internet?

I,ve had trouble sending mail with windows mail, until tonight when all old
mail suddenly went out. I did go back through the initial set up procedure a
few days ago but nothing happened straight away I had given up thinking the
problem was to do with norton security, so sorry don,yt know how i did it but
it is now working fine.
