I do not want anything to do with messenger. Yet, every time I check for
updates there is an update to messenger, tougne out panting and waiting to
be downloaded. How can I get rid of that so I don't mistakenly click on the
insideous thing one day?
Mike

Hi

Go to the WU page and click on 'Personalize Windows Update'. You will be asked to scan for updates, after which you can uncheck those that you don't want to be displayed.
