I have 2000 Pro sharing a folder and security is set for all users.

I have a user setup on the 2000 machine in the administrator group.

I log on to the Win 98 machine with this user's name and password, but I
cannot see the share on the Win 2000 machine.

Any ideas of what I need to do to fix this?

Make sure the win98 pc is part of the same workgroup that
the win2k pc is. Also, make sure share name is less than
8 characters. If there is no WINS server available, add
an entry to each pc's LMHOSTS file for the other pc. It
should help with name resolution.
