I just went to the Critical Updates page and see the following:

"High-priority updates Microsoft Windows XP / Microsoft HID Non-User
Input Data Filter (KB 911895) - Microsoft - Other hardware - HID Non-User
Input Data File (KB911895)"

Just what is this and do I NEED to download it? Why is it listed as
"High-priority" update/download.

Please advise as I don't use my computer for games or complicated programs,
etc.

Thank you.
Alice

Did you know that most updates include a link that explains the purpose
of the update? Here's the link for Knowledge Base (KB) article 911895:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911895

This would be better addressed in the Windows Update newsgroup.
