sdlt removable storage

hello, i have a dell 110t sdlt320 installed but it will
not backup, the device is listed in device manager no
probs, but is not listed in removable storage, thus the
media is shown as offline. is there any way to add the
dlt into removable storage please? i am running win2k sp4.

Generally that is because the driver is not RSM compatible. For example
drivers that come with Veritas Backup Exec do not use RSM. Check to see
what driver is being used. If it is the correct driver try uninstalling and
reinstalling.

>Ah HA! removing all the drivers (including the drive from

device manager) has fixed it!
