I noticed a few other questions asked about the scrolling being jumpy and
slow. I am having the same problem since upgrading to Windows XP Pro.

The previous note from Carey Frisch mentions updating the Video Adapter
drivers, but I do not know how to find out and where to go to sort it. I cant
really tell looking at my Add/Remove programs to see what I have.

Any other suggestions please?

Thank you.

To find out what hardware is installed, download Everest Home Edition(Free):
http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en

Create a new folder named Everest and extract the contents of the download to
that folder.
Open the folder and double-click everest.exe to run the application.

Go to the manufacturers support site and download install the latest drivers
per their instructions.

I have downloaded this as recommended. But here is where I begin to sound
thick. What exactly am I looking for in there and what else are Video Adapter
drivers called? I think I need an idiots guide here. The scrolling at the
moment is driving me crazy. Please help!

Thanks, Leigh

You're not looking for the drivers. Look for anything pertaining to video,
display or graphics.

Expand display and click windows video.
Also if the video is integrated into the motherboard and not a separate PCI/AGP
adapter:
Expand motherboard and click chip
