Win XP Pro. After two months of everything working, my
screen saver kicks in and then goes to standby. After
just a few seconds, it comes out of standby and returns
to the logon screen. Leaving it there will burn the image
into my monitor if I do not fix it.
Is there a fix?

In display properties under the Screen Saver tab remove the checkmark next
to "On resume, display Welcome screen"
FYI unless your working with a very old monitor you don't have to worry
about images burning into the screen anymore. That is what screen savers
were originally designed to prevent but now they are basically just for
appearances.
