Funny, they've not mentioned the result much over here. Although I did send some pictures round all the Aussie guys in my office.

They are an annoying nation, every review of the game I've read (not that many!) have said something along the lines of "Australia failed to beat a hapless Scotland side" or "Scotland were brave, but limited". Arrogance is second nature to an Australian.

During the 80s when I were a drinker, a couple of families [friends] went to Mallorca

Whilst there a few Aussise were there one night two fellows asked for a drinking contest and to choose our best, which turned out to be myself.

Oh I thought they were supposed to be a drinking nation , the bet was £100 to the winner as long as he was to be able to get to his room after and down for breakfast in the morning.

Huh some drinkers they turned out to be.

His mates had to carry him to the room he was absolutely PI##ED after a few hours.



But his excuse was he was drinking a different larger to his usual

Well I were drinking Guinness and had drunk my usual 30 pints + whisky +tequila +gin

I had my £100.
they talk through the wrong hole
We didn’t see them after that.
