What happened to the days when kids who didn't do home work etc at school or miss behaved etc got a bloody good hiding from the head master..?
Now teachers are getting suspended for all kinds of sh*t....

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20081204/tod-british-teacher-suspended-over-push-6058bda.html
I might be a bit harsh when I say this, but bring back corparal punishment and put the fear back into kids that I once had at school..Yeach tehm what is wrong and right, the streets we walk on might be safer after that...

Edit: Judging by my spelling I need to go back to bl**dy school

If you really want them to be happy in school then forget teachers all together. I thought school was for learning not just to be happy?

I can remember at school:

Being made to run three times round a football pitch in just shorts and plimsolls in the middle of winter for being lippy to a teacher.

Being whacked across the backside with one of those Gym climbing ropes.

Being hit round the back of the head with a huge textbook for trying to disrupt the class.

Being hit on the backside with a size twelve plimsole, numerous occasions, for bad-mouthing the music teacher.

Being caned on the hands and the backside with a cane, countless ocassions, strokes ranged from two to six.

Two for being lippy, six for putting my hand up the French teachers skirt as she walked past my desk. On that one occasion, six was worth it Hi Miss Ricard, how ya doing?

And for setting fire to my desk whilst sitting at it: Suspended two weeks.

And did I turn out wrong?

Don't answer that

I was the only boy in the entire history of the school to be made HEAD BOY and then demoted.

I only planted six stink bomb booby traps in the male and female teachers toilets.

Did I turn out wrong ?

Think carefuly before answering.

I were head librarian at school don’t know why? Because I couldn’t read But I could run fast to catch the book worms, I suppose thats why I were chosen
