I am using windows movie maker 2 and i can edit my
imported files no probles but when i try to save it wont
let me. It tells me that i should check either the
destination of where I am going to save it to, or that
the source of my media is still valid, or that i dont
have enought disk space. however i know that all the
above is ok how can i sort this problem out

Exact same problem here too. 10GB is free on HD, user is
administrator, and tried to save to multiple locations.
The movie file is actually saving because I can go into
My Videos and open the wmv file.

i had the same problem!

change the way you save it from "best for quality" or
whatever it says to.."other options"

scroll down and click "DV-AVI"

then click on save...the file is a lot bigger, but it's
better quality, and it actually works, so thats always a
plus.
