Saving AVI After Rendering

I have rendered my movie as an AVI and saved to hard
disk. Media player 9 plays beautiful. I can't export or
copy this file back to my digital device which is an ADS
PYRO AV with a firewire port which allows me to convert
nack to composite for VHS. How do you export/copy the file?
